NEURONE PARTY AT THE FENS MEETING - July 15th 2008 -

NeuroNE will organise one of the social events of the FENS meeting.
Everyone is invited to join us at our party. You will get the opportunity to try a popular part of our outreach programme. Get creative by building your own brain in play dough, guided by Dr. Lizzie Burns, a scientist-turned-artist. Refreshments and small bites will be offered by the NeuroNE network and there will be a cash bar.
Just come along on the 15th 18.30 - 20h30, no registration is required.

ART OF THE BRAIN - SCHOOLS WORKSHOPS
January – February 2008, Cambridgeshire, UK
Fifteen University of Cambridge scientists joined scientist-turned-artist Dr Lizzie Burns for an outreach project at ten Fenland schools in the run-up to the Cambridge Science Festival 2008. Pupils got the chance to explore how the brain works using modelling techniques to create sculptures of the brain.
